Mileage: 120,000km Tax due: May 2025 (400 yearly) NCT: January 31st 2026 SUMMARY: I made the car into my own ultimate road trip spec as I took it to London and then to Scotland to do the North Coast 500. Now that I have experienced owning this car, I think it is time for me to move on. KEY FACTS: - The car was completely stock when I bought it at 107,000km - It has got two piece rotors with brembo calipers - BMC Carbon cold air intake (this is the same brand of intake used by the abarth race team) - CAE short shifter this costed 1.3k (PRICE IS WITHOUT SHIFTER) - Billet aluminium steering wheel extender as the factory steering wheel didn't have enough adjustment this allowed me to drive the car more comfortably rather than having my arms stretched out - Bombadrone R2 (stainless steel exhaust) - Pirelli P Zero's all around - Got 17 inch turismo wheels. - New facelift tailights fitted - I spent about 3 days polishing the car and ceramic coating it with Gtechniq Ceramic Serum. The coating allows dirt to come off with just a water rinse and enhances shine. You can also see there are zero scratches micro scratches on the paint. This apparently should last 3-5 years BORING STUFF: - It was serviced every 5000km in my ownership it has a partial service history. I was told by the previous owner some of it was lost I can back this up as when I went to change the timing belt it had been done previously with no record. Service history in miles: 24997 24/6/16 27410 4/5/17 31541 31/7/18 38232 31/7/18 64000 oil change 15/1/24 - The rear shocks were changed in January 68972 oil change 20/5/24 5w40 - Water pump (coolant flush), tensioner and timing belt back in June which it didn’t need but I didn’t know it was already done (lost service history). Spark plugs were also changed 72420 oil change 13/8/24 10w50 millers race oil - The engine was always allowed to warm up before driving off and cooled down before I turned it off. - The slave cylinder was replaced and had a full brake fluid flush back in August. - Brakes have got a decent amount of meat on them - Tyres are not needed anytime soon ISSUES: - Bit of paint peel in the bottom right corner of front bumper and slight spider webbing in the rear corner (previous driver). - The side skirt on driver's not sitting the most flush - Only 1 key, previous seller said there were two but am yet to get it so I will assume there is only 1. My thoughts about the car: This is the 3rd car with this engine I have owned and this one mechanically is the best one by far. EXPENSES over 5k: Below is some of what I spent on the car in the past 9 months (I have a problem).
