Brought my Volvo XC90 to Joe Duffy's Athlone last week as the heat was not working. I received first class service. I had never dealt with this garage in the past but was given an appointment within two days of phoning. Carmel was so accommodating and understanding that I had driven from County Limerick. The staff there went above and beyond to accommodate me and provided a very comfortable room that I could work in. The fault was swiftly diagnosed and the spare part required was even in stock. I will certainly return for future routine servicing.

3 hour round trip to view a Volvo Select car that was shockingly poorly presented. The place might be great, but this was our experience of it . Just to answer Joe Duffy's reply. We could care less where the car came from or how long it took to sell. We looked at the car after it was valeted and put on the forecourt. Our issue was that it was described as a Volvo Select car. It fell well short of Volvo's idea of Select. The interior smelt really bad, the lower bolster on the driver's side was worn through, the rear of the driver's seat was torn and the leather was filthy(absolutely filthy). Nearly every panel on the exterior needed attention, particularly the lower part of the rear bumper. Our issue was the time wasted viewing such a poorly presented car. If you think the cars presentation was ok then go look at how Mercedes prepared theirs.
