The unique design of the Güttler prismatic rollers allow them to be equally at home in arable or grassland. These Prism rings were originally designed and pioneered by Guttler, and they have continued to develop and prove their advantages for over 30 years now. The Prismatic points crumble clods leaving an ideal seed bed, firm underneath at the seed horizon, and crumbly on top so that it doesn't cap in heavy rain. The Prismatic ring pairs are self cleaning. They can successfully operate in wetter ground than it is possible with a Cambridge style ring. The Prism points are triangular shaped points, which knead the surface in 3 directions. At 305 points per square metre, The Prism points are very severe on broad leaf weeds such as chickweed. The points provoke tillering of grass and emerging crops.
