Alfa 156 2.5 V6

1998 Alfa 156 2.5 V6 6 speed manual - original Irish car from new - 76,000 miles - new NCT until 11/26 I have owned this car for 7 years and in that time have spent a fortune getting it into the condition it is today. The car has spent the majority of its ownership with me in dry well ventilated storage. In 2020 I had a full glass out respray done. This was hugely involved but was done to a very high standard and the car still presents in fantastic condition. At the same time I had a brand new windscreen fitted along with the 4 teledials refurbished. Being an original Irish car it is a rust free example and this work was solely cosmetic. More than happy to share photos of this work. The car is totally original with the exception of the exhaust which I have fitted a Wizard exhaust system to really let the V6 sing and an Autolusso silicone air intake. In the last 12-18 months I have had the following work done to it to ensure it’s in great condition mechanically. - new battery - new alternator - new front shock absorbers - new top mounts - new upper wishbones - new lower wishbones - new drop links - front brake discs and pads - rear brake discs and pads - two new front tyres (Dunlop to match the rear) - spark plugs - oil and filter (genuine Alfa Romeo filter) - new radiator - new air conditioning condenser (lovely and cold AC!) In June 2023 I had the cambelt and water pump replaced along with the auxiliary kit and belt. At the same time I replaced the expansion bottle and flushed the coolant. This was done at approx 73,000 miles and does not need doing for a long time yet. The car is in great shape and I will be sorry to see it go - in 2028 it will benefit from Vintage motor tax of €56 per year. I’d welcome any inspection but I’d like to think it’s one of the better examples of an Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6.
