for sale : a 19' open sea Dory

Built from plans (Spira International Inc.) designed by J Spira 1999. details: length 19',beam:5'11",draft0.3',max free board:3'0",min :1'9". Frames made from imported Oregon pine.Planking is cert.half inch marine ply,and 5/8"for bottom.Keel son,chine log ,Cher-clamp,Rub rail etc.all African Mahogany.Stainless nuts and bolts used throughout.there is Fiberglas matting under the bottom.Paint is Hempel two-pack outside and inside (blue /White)there is a motor- well built in. as the plans show the Dory can also be sailed.A15' mast,boom and yard have been made from mahogany . the rigging,sail,and jib and the rudder are still outstanding.(need to be made!) This strong boat has been very reliable,and has only been used lightly for fishing along the coast so far. It is in very good condition. There are two 10' sets of oars.The Trailer is a single axle galvanized type with a swivel-back;assisting the launching and recovery greatly.
