Honda CX500 Custom 1981

Honda CX500 Custom 1981, American import (in 2008). V-twin ~492cc , shaft driven, everything is functioning well, I have the Haynes service manual I will be more that willing to sell it along with it. I bought it in late December 2022 as my first bike. Taxed till 05/24. Black with a bit of grey I have replaced a few thing due to wear and tear: ¬CDI burnt out so it was replaced with a Rae-San ignition. please see link below to what was installed. ¬Mirrors are new, the dishes on the old ones that hold the mirror have gone loose over the years. I still have the originals if you want to fix them. ¬Spark plugs were replaced ¬Full service done in late August 2023. ¬Tyres purchased replaced in Cotter's in January 2023. ¬Due to me owning the bike before my Test, I had to get it restricted to 35kw even though the P/W Ratio is ok for A2 licence (its 37.3kw I believe without the restrictor), because RSA requires a cert confirming that it has 35kw. I have the certs, the restrictor can be easily removed. ¬Brand new battery, I replaced it as I thought the battery was the issue before I replaced the CDI. ¬Tacho cable was replaced with a brand new OEM replacement. ¬Accelerator cables (pull and return) were both replaced. ¬Choke cable was replaced with an Aftermarket replacement. ¬I replaced the grommets in the side panels as they were perished. ¬A little bit of welding was done on one of the exhaust mounts due to rust which was found days after I bought the bike. Now for the things that definitely need to be done: ¬Exhaust pipes need some love, there is some rust from before I bought the bike. ¬Saddle needs replacing, it has crumbled from years of use, it was already been repaired at some stage as you can see stiffening brackets along parts of the edge that aren't an original piece. ¬Someone broke the thread on the right mirror mount while it was in storage and this needs to be re-threaded so that the mirror can be attached. All offers welcome! No time wasters though.....
