Upcycled G Plan Mid Century Vanity

Up-Cycled G Plan vanity dresser People are unaware of the beauty and value of craftsmanship like this. It has become very difficult to get solid wood furniture in such good nick for a reasonable price anymore. I managed to return this solid teak unit back to its original condition. It was in pretty bad shape, there were many dents and deep scratches, the old stain had penetrated the wood entirely and it had left a horrid musty smell. The legs were broken and the brass hardware had corroded. Now I’m pleased to give it an opportunity to find a new home to an owner who appreciates good craftsmanship and functional art. VANITY UNIT - Dark Ebony stain used on all visible sides, new bronze handles (Original brass plated plates), and vinyl wrapping of one drawer box (Middle) on top and the press (bottom right). Waxed and polished for a satin finish. These are pre-loved pieces so there may be signs of use.
