Description
2007 Coachman Amara 450-2 Smart front and side skirts make the Amara look modern and upmarket and the one-piece door with opening window adds to the impressive specification. The layout is spacious as the extra length and width really make a difference. There’s a comfortable and spacious lounge up front, the kitchen is in the centre and a full-width washroom is at the rear. The two sofas are long and convert into a double bed at night. Underseat storage is ample and easy to access by doors or by lifting the seat cushions up and sliding the slats out of the way. The kitchen is a big part of this caravan, taking up almost a third of the space. On the offside there is the cooker (with oven, grill and four burners, of course) and a sink that has an integrated drainer with washing up bowl and chopping board. The dresser opposite is a perfect height for food preparation. It also holds the large 95-litre digitally-controlled fridge with electric ignition, and small freezer compartment, and the heater. Right at the back is the very spacious washroom with separate shower enclosure. Features include: Alloy Wheels, Large Rooflight, Truma Heater & Water Heater – Gas/Electric, Blown Air Heating, Fridge, Hob/Oven/Grill, Awning Light, TV Aerial, Cassette Toilet, Separate Shower Area, Under Seat Storage, Outside Storage Lockers, Removeable Carpets, Gas BBQ Point, Exterior Mains Outlet, Radio/CD

Very helpful staff, took lots of time to answer our questions, even though we were obviously undecided on whether we were going to purchase a motorhome. A good variety of vans for most budgets, we eventually bought elsewhere because we dithered for too long and someone else bought the van we liked, but we would definitely come back to Abbey.

We purchased a used motorhome from Abbey Caravans. We had a couple of small problems which were very quickly fixed. We would like to thank Jim, Gareth and all the staff for their help, knowledge and friendliness. Highly recommended.
