Note on recent price drop: I think it might be about due for a timing belt/water pump change (based on age, not odometer reading). I talked to Hansbury Motors on Kilrush and they said it would cost about €450 for the job. So I'm marking down the price to €3,400 to include that cost and the inconvenience. The car still drives very well, so it's not like you must do the job right away, but it's up to the buyer. I could even take it to Hansbury and get it done if we work it into the price of our deal. Original ad: My bad choices lead to your good bargain. This Citroen wasn't driving right, after taking it to the mechanic a couple times. I gave up and I bought a 2016 for the Mrs, with the intention of selling this one. But I decided it needed to be in good shape and through NCT first. Long story short, a new clutch has it driving beautifully. New tyres, suspension bits, brakes, new door sills (old ones were rusty), and a total of about €4500 in bills paid, and this vehicle drives perfectly. I had it through NCT on 25/10 and it is now good until 30/07/2024, since I had let it lapse a bit. Why did I put all that money into it, after I already had a replacement car? I don't know! But now you buy a car that's all sorted. The car is in good shape. I had it professionally cleaned, inside and out. It looks better than it has in years. It's not perfect, but it is very mechanically sound and drives nicely. As you can see from the pictures, this is the 7-passenger version. We found it great for road trips. Lots of room for luggage or for separating our kids on longer drives. I'm asking €3,400 (on a hope and prayer of getting some of my repair money back).. If this car drove this well before I bought the 2016 then I would have kept it. Disclaimer: hopefully you got a kick out of the first three pictures...they are satire, so don't sue me.
