I have seen your reply to my review, firstly I did not bring a mechanic, I brought my brother in law who is a truck driver to look at the car, he is not a qualified mechanic,and never claimed to be, he just has an interest In cars, secondly yes I understand I didn't get a warranty but by law a warranty is an extra bonus it doesn't change the fact I'm covered by consumer law and at the end of the day I still paid over the odds for the car even with the discount, I did not pull out the solicitor card straight away, it was only when u ignored every call and message I sent, I'm not looking for problems, your held accountable by consumer protection law, if u bought a second hand washing machine and it broke I'm intitled to a refund, I've tried working on resolutions, I've even said if you would just fix the car, two months with a blown engine is not a minor fault, the brakes siezed on the car 2 days after I bought it and I fixed that myself, the mechanic said that all the oil filters were blocked and u said that the car was fully serviced, I don't have the luxury of losing €7300, I've tried everything to be fair with you, im clearly covered by consumer law, a little fact that every second garage seems to conviently forget, I'm not trying to create problems, I'm just looking for a fair outcome, I bought from your garage with the knowledge that if something went wrong I would be covered, if this is the industry standard then it's no different than buying private, I've contacted citizens advice, the Consumer protection agency and a solicitor, and all of them said I was within my right, you've left me in a very bad position, you never offered any resolution and I have copies of all the ignored correspondence with you, u basically ignored me and offered me nothing and forced me to go this route. I have had no reply from u regarding any resolution.
