Quality of service droped of. Car not washed during serive, dirty cups for coffee, no sugar in waiting room. Dirty floor. High price 175 pounds to change oil only, they not even did visual car assessment for work body

I regret to say that my experience with Saltmarine Cars fell far short of expectations. Despite their reputed customer service, there were a few disappointments that should have been avoided by proper preparation for sale. Firstly, the salesman took no interest in showing me around the car or explaining the features, both when viewing and purchasing the car. I was advised service history and car manual were in the car, neither were and I had to request both via email. Despite assurances that the vehicle would be meticulously cleaned, on pick up day, it had a lingering fusty odor, muddy seatbelts, and unclean seats and floor. Finally, upon driving it out of the dealership, I immediately detected a sensor error. When I reported this to saltmarine within an hour of leaving, they displayed a lack of accountability, failing to apologize or acknowledge the oversight. Instead, I was inconvenienced with an 80-mile round trip for a cleaning that should happened prior to the collection of the car, and the issue with the sensor was not fixed as it needs to be fixed in a manufacturer specific garage, thankfully under warranty. I also provided this feedback via email to the sales manager and received no response at all. Overall, the subpar condition of the car upon delivery and the deficient level of customer care were profoundly disappointing, particularly given the esteemed reputation of the company.
