Talbot Express 1991

This is our 1991 Peugeot Talbot Pilote R580 Motor home. We have had some great times in this Moho but with two small toddlers, we've decided to go down the mobile home route instead for a few years. It is six berth, with a fixed double (well, we had it as a fixed double with a proper mattress, though you could turn it back into an additional seating area), a smaller double over the cab, and the table in the middle converts to a double as well. We bought it in 2019 so it has been registered in the north of Ireland since then and is exempt from the 21% vat imposed as a result of BREXIT. It has a full 12 months MOT, with no advisories. Prior to MOT the following work was carried out, both timing belts have been changed, power steering and fan belt replaced, full oil and filter service including transmission oil, front headlights replaced, new windscreen fitted, new brakes fitted including rear actuator. The year previously it got 4 new tyres, the spare is also perfect, a new exhaust from the manifold back, a new clutch kit, two 3 point seat belts along with isofix fixing points, these were professionally fitted and an engineers report is available, 2 new wings and a scuttle panel were also replaced. It has also had two new window winder mechanisms fitted. The motor home has a solar panel and two new leisure batteries as well as a new engine battery. Inside it has the usual facilities, cassette toilet, hand basin and shower, fridge, gas hob, gas oven and trauma heater, all of which work. It also has a Fiamma wind out awning and a Dometic air pro drive away awning worth €1200.00 a Walker 110 volt smart tv, wind breaker, skirt and ground sheets, levelling ramps etc all of which will be included if we get our asking price I have carried out a lot of other work to the van - it has been a labour of love! and I'm sure I have missed things there are no leaks it really is a very original van with lots of life left for the new owner.
