A letter on file explains the car was sold to a Mr Edwin Marriott by Bauer Millett who were one of the UK's premier US car dealers to join his collection of other American cars. The letter goes on to say that the car was used sparingly till 1998 when it was then stored undriven till 2007 in an airconditioned garage on stands with wheels removed.
