I bought a car here last year and my experience was really first class. Joañne was extremely helpful and on a return visit late in December the experience was just as good. On another visit last May, I purchased an electric car and it really was another wonderful experience. Gary o Regan is a wonderful ambassador for Sere motors. The experience at SERE Motors Belfast was fantastic because from stet to finish Gary was brilliant. He was ipen and honest and gave us all information to make a decision. He was not pudgy like a lot of sales people and we were confident we were getting a fair deal. Gary is a real asset to ur organisation

Don't touch SERE with a barge pole! Just walk away as they are just a bunch of condescending sarcastic liars, who want nothing to do with you once a sale has been made. I brought a MG4 on the 6/12/23, immediately didn't get on with it and started to consider another vehicle. On the 11/12/23 the plastic deflector underneath the car came off. I called into SERE on the same day to get it looked at and SERE repaired it as a courtesy. I informed SERE that I intended to replace the car and test drove another vehicle whilst the repairs were undertaken. A sales rep accompanied me on the test drive, but he was constantly checking his watch, made a disparaging comment regarding my driving and was repeatedly suggesting that I should just go home and think about it. When I got home, I inspected the repair and noticed that it was very poor-quality work. The new deflector was warped and misshapen, resembling a roller coaster along its leading edge. I called SERE on the 13/12/23 to say that I wanted to return the vehicle as I was entitled to cancel my order within 14 working days under the Distance Selling Regulations (I purchased the vehicle online and had not seen the vehicle until I collected it) The sales manager incorrectly informed me that I couldn't return the vehicle, only exchange it, despite them having no other vehicles that suited me. I was told to "just learn to live with the issues" that I had with the vehicle or trade it in elsewhere. I complained to my finance company who contacted SERE. SERE lied to them and stated that I had viewed, and test driven the car before collecting. After being found out on this lie, the next excuse was that they wouldn't accept the return due to the damage caused on the 11/12/23 when the plastic deflector came off which was apparently my fault as I must have hit something that I didn't see in a puddle. After multiple calls and emails, SERE reluctantly accepted the return of the vehicle on the 19/12/23, but now expect me to pay for the previous unsatisfactory repair, (the cause of which is still a matter of debate) a barely noticeable chip on the windscreen which supposedly necessitates a replacement windscreen and in addition I am also expected to pay for the miles added onto the car (which is fair enough) except I was quoted £1.50 per mile! After telling SERE that the figure was exorbitant, they’ve agreed to lower the price to £0.55 per mile. Clearly the figures are just being pulled out of the air. I would advise any potential buyer to think twice before entering dealings with SERE. They will be your best friend at the start but show their true colours shortly after.
