the ad was clear and accurate, and the car itself was spotless. freshly serviced, nct until next year, came with mats, wheel covers, topped-up fuel, and even a brand new key since there was only one with it. i also got a 3-month engine and gearbox warranty (which is solid for a 10+ year old car) and a 12-month AA membership as it was AA approved.

overall just a really fair and trustworthy place to buy from. proper honest dealership with no pressure and great service. highly recommend.

I purchased a 2009 Honda Insight from 2V Motors 5 months back. It was a pleasure to do business with Valerij. He was honest about the whole process and the history of the car. The car needed a new battery and he gave it a new battery for free. He also gave a fair price on the car. The car was looking new and in perfect condition on the delivery day. It was given a full clean up and a good wash. I have taken the car for more than 18000 kms and it is still running as new giving a decent economy. Also, he was prompt in completing all the paperwork on time and had patiently explained the whole process before the deal. He is a professional who knows the craft and he was confident in the car he sold, which helped me make the decision to buy the car.

I recently contacted 2V Motor Sales regarding a van I saw listed on Done Deal. I spoke with a member of their sales team, Valerij, and we agreed on a deal and terms for the vehicle. As I am not based locally, I arranged for my son and his father-in-law to visit the dealership and test drive the van on my behalf. I informed Valerij that, provided the vehicle drove well, I would proceed with the purchase.

However, less than an hour after finalizing our agreement and with my son en route to the dealership, he arrived only to witness the van being driven away by another party. Valerij then informed him that the vehicle had been sold.

I found this situation extremely unprofessional. It seems highly coincidental—and questionable—that the van was sold to someone else in such a short window of time, especially after we had already come to an agreement.

This experience was a complete waste of time for my son, who left work to attend, his father-in-law, and myself after extensive back-and-forth communication that ultimately led nowhere.

I would urge others to be cautious and ensure clarity and commitment when dealing with this company.

From the very first phone call after finding my dad’s automatic car on Adverts.ie, the communication with 5 Star Quality Motors was excellent. I live in Kerry, 3–4 hours away, and once I paid a small deposit, I was fully reassured the car would not be sold to anyone else. That level of honesty really stood out.

When I went to collect the car, the description and presentation were exactly as advertised — in fact, it looked like it had just come off the production line. Every question I asked, every message I sent on WhatsApp, Muhammed answered promptly and honestly. The 3-month warranty on the engine and gearbox also gave extra peace of mind.

As for the price, I felt it was fair. The car was in such good condition for its year that I didn’t feel the need to haggle. I requested a reversing camera, and it was provided without issue.

What mattered was that the car was exactly as described and the service was second to none. Had an excellent experience with John at A&J Motors, bought a Tiguan in January which was in immaculate condition and it has been going great since. John included doing the timing belt for me in the deal for whenever I wanted it done, which I availed of recently. Bought a car from here in January and included was a new timing chain & warranty through another company. Also have an invoice and dating when they done a new timing chain. 8 months later engine completely gone in the car and a mechanic has said the timing chain was never done especially not 8 months ago. I’m now left with the cost €8000 or more to get a new engine. When I rang John he couldn’t care less. The warranty is more than likely not going to cover the cost.
