Introducing Caleb ♥️ Well hello there handsome!!! Perfectly proportioned and sitting on some new swanky shoes this 1950s Turnidge cocktail cabinet has been lovingly restored and redesigned with a modern twist. His previously painted wood exterior was stripped and sanded back to reveal the most stunning dark rich walnut grain. To complement the moodiness of this figured grain he was partly painted then using a cold black mineral paint. All was then sealed with several coats of a hard oil wax, truly making it a wood to admire. Boasting a considerable amount of space his top half, drop down, raise up opening is not only ideal for storage but also drink preparation. His old backing mirror was replaced and a new one added to his drop down drawer. A motion censored rechargeable light was attached and included beneath a sheet of glass, a golden art deco stencil. Although the original cocktail sticks and lemon squeeze were missing I did managed to source replacements. His bow fronted bottom double doors open to reveal a partly painted partly varnished shelved wood surface and this generous sized cupboard carries ample room for that all important whiskey, gin or perhaps record collection. To finish the hardware was cleaned polished and sprayed and legs were added for modernisation and height. The right furniture can turn any house into a home and a statement piece like Caleb can change the look of a room in its entirety. Keep in mind here however, like all MD Serendipity Designs he is the only one of his kind in the world. There are no other quite like him, so grab him up quick before he's gone!!!
