NCT Exempt Porsche 924 Project

My toxic relationship with Porsche 924s' must come to an end. I bought him as a non runner from the pub at full asking (on the phone) after a lot of Beamish. Now, almost two years later I've given up. It needs a trailer home as the starter motor/starter motor loom gave up the ghost as I was fine tuning the fuel mixture having replaced the entire wiring harness (drops to 6.2volts when cranking.) Before I decided it was a good idea to fix the wiring he ran and drove really well. I just wanted lights, so thought I was doing the right thing. It turns out, once a classic car is running you ignore things like that. Anyway, I no longer have access to a ramp, and have no way of getting to the starter motor. More accurately, I don't have the will to spend more time getting him running again. There's a few other jobs to do to him once you get him running such as sealing up the sunroof, attending to the paint on the rear valance, deciding if you want the pre 1983 or 1985 heater and a few small tidying jobs. He was restored in 2019 (pictures available) so is solid underneath. This isn't a lost cause. Just needs someone with enthusiasm. Finally - I had provisionally sold this car last August, but the seller withdrew at the last minute after a lot of messing about. This really broke me, so I put him under a cover for the Winter and wanted to see if the motivation would return or not. Obviously it hasn't.
