The GMT 035 TTC grapple saw & double-extension boom is perfect for excavators from 14ton plus. The rotator and tilt cylinders allow operators to manoeuvre into the crowns of trees with ease and access hard to reach areas. Designed with safety and efficiency in mind, you can remove and fell whole trees without any timber touching the floor. The grapple saw uses a sequential valve block meaning the saw bar will only ever cut once the grab has a secure hold of the tree. The chain also spins at such a speed that there is now chain shot risk allowing, road-side, residential, and other safety conscious jobs to be carried out with ease. The telescopic extension boom offers 6m of extra reach, allowing you to increase your operational potential regardless of the scope of works you have to undertake. The TTC (Total Tree Control) technology allows you to block the rotator and tilt cylinders once a cut has been made. Once you have positioned yourself to make a cut in the desired position, the TTC then allows for a rigid removal of the timber without it dropping or swinging whilst being placed.
