OMEF Tree Shears

The OMEF range of tree shears are designed for cutting trees in urban and forestry environments in a wide variety of applications. The range consists of 6 models that can be mounted to a variety of different excavators, loaders, and skid steers. Needing only one double-acting hydraulic service, operators can cut and hold trees in one single action. This simplifies maintenance and servicing as well as increasing durability and performance. The body is made entirely of XAR 400 steel so it still performs well in heavy duty applications and the patented XAR 500 blade creates a long lasting, efficient cutting mechanism. The models in the range are the 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, & 600. The model name correlates to the cutting capacity on hard wood in millimetres and the soft wood capacity is 50mm bigger on each model. We can also mount a heavy-duty worm drive rotator unit for greater manoeuvrability and operational potential. This would require a second set of double acting hydraulics to run it. The price shown is for the OMEF 300 which is classed from 8-14ton excavators and does not include the cost of the fabricated saddle & hose kits.
