Bought a Peugeot 5008 (2 years old) early this year. Live in Dublin so drove to Cork to buy the car and trade my old car (which is not ideal as you can’t really go several times to check the car). Overall the experience was good and smooth. The car is running perfectly and there was no « bad surprise ». Justin was great and the price was competitive. I don’t give 5 stars for the following reasons:
- there was no service record book/receipts which is always a concern when buying a second-hand car. Justin got some of them via Peugeot so it was OK in the end but it should have been provided in the first place
- the engine and the spare tyre were very dusty which is never pleasant. Doesn’t take much to het it cleaned when the car is serviced so it shd have been done
- i realised afterwards that the brake pedal pad was missing. Not a biggie but an issue for NCT. This shd have been picked and sorted by Carmaxx before the sale

Bought a car off carmaxx assuring me it would pass nct which was booked for a month after I bought the car, failed the NCT. Then within 8 months had 2 major problems a steering rack costing €650 and an electrical engine issue costing over €3,000 to fix. Rang Carmaxx as car was clearly faulty was told they weren’t obliged to do anything as car was out of warranty (3 months) very rude on the phone no help whatsoever. Explained to them I understood but the car cost €8,500 which I paid in full and I was consistently repairing. Couldn’t advise anyone any more to stay clear of these pack of scammers.

Rang today to get some advice on my non starting King Quad. The gentleman in service was very helpful and steered me to the problem.
I have now ordered the necessary parts to fix it.
In my estimation this is really excellent service. I wasn't even asked if I purchased the quad from their company.

I  bought a Solo T22-110 HDH-A V2 High grass ride on mower  here,  took delivery of it in early June  2023 .very satisfied with it's  grass cutting capabilities and power .
