Havent bought any car but went for test drive today.
Karl was very nice man, handed me keys to a jaguar car for test drive, no questions asked. Only when I told I am on lerner permit, he sat beside and still let me drive on the roads.

Karl seems like a decent salesman, and so I paid a deposit on a car to hold it until I got there to see car based on all the info in the ad. verified dealer in donedeal, so you'd expect a modicum of honesty. But then I couldn't insure car as NCT had been out for nearly a year, but the ad said it was valid til Sept 24. I called and said I wasn't interested as I couldn't insure. They refused to give deposit back. I see the car sold now so they have the money twice.
Cowboys ! I wouldn't go near them. Plenty of good cars and honest dealerships out there.
