Tips and guides

We have been leading specialists in the alloy wheels market for over 20 years, supplying new and used alloy wheels. Along with this we specialize in alloy repairs.

Great experience with Route 66, my 20 years old Volvo alloy wheels were very badly corroded and loosing tyre's pressure constantly, so I bought my car to Route 66; and I can't believe what a wonderful transformation and is really like new, they also provide sets of wheels while they're working on mine, so you won't be stuck without a car for few days..
Highly recommended, as you can see the Before and After of my wheel, Thank you again for taking the job..

Very happy with my experience. Great service, highly recommend. Got help choosing alloys and tyres to my specification and they look a lot better in person then they did on the website. Prices are competitive especially with tyres and fitting. The team fitting the new alloys were extremely friendly and accommodating specially that I was nearly 4 hours late.

Absolutely superb customer experience with Tony, great recommendations and time discussing a few options. Highly recommend!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I got my wheels refurbished at Route 66 and after the warranty expired the lacquer started to bubble on every wheel. My car is wrapped so no harsh chemicals used. I see other people here have had the same experience. Unfortunately Tony did not want to entertain his bad workmanship. Another company said this should never happen, the process was done wrong or the quality of materials were not appropriate for wheels.

Don’t go near route 66 I got my wheels “powder coated” 1 year ago and one started to bubble, I gave it back to them and they repaired it.. a month later it started to peel where they “repaired” so I went back again and they sprayed the wheel… a different shade of grey! I went back again and they tried to match it but they couldn’t! So I got my wheel back like this! As seen in pictures complete disaster and an absolute disgrace!
They are not “powder coating” any wheel just spraying the faces and barrels, they say the tyres come off but they don’t! They offered to do all 4 wheels again to match the one wheel, but I had enough of them messing me around to have to do this all over again a year later!!
