Up for sale is a beautiful piece of antique English pottery: a late Edwardian-era ceramic hot water pitcher featuring its original hinged pewter lid with a thumb-lever mechanism. Manufactured by Gibson & Sons Ltd in Burslem, Staffordshire, England, this piece showcases an elegant, classical pattern with orange/rust-colored floral medallions, intricate hanging bead swags, dark blue accents, and delicate gold gilt highlights along the borders and handle. The underside features the authentic Gibson & Sons maker's mark and includes the registered design number Rᵈ Nᵒ 649584, which officially dates the design registration to 1915.
