19th Century Irish Vernacular Milking Stool

A really lovely, honest piece of 19th-century Irish country furniture. This traditional "hedge" milking stool is completely original, built by hand with a thick timber top and wedged through-tenon legs that show right through the seat. It is still rock solid, sits nice and flat, and is ready for another lifetime of service. It makes a perfect little rustic side table, plant stand, or understated accent piece for a cozy corner. Condition: still very sturdy, no woodworm, there is a split on main piece of timber (per pic) but still structurally sound and ready to go!
