This desk was made in the mid to late 1800's and retains all of its original parts including working lock and key. Happiness of the day Louis XV Rosewood ladies desk with mahogany back and decorated inlaid rosewood rhombs surrounded by fillets of lemon tree. Resting on 4 curved legs with adornments. Its top is surrounded by a brass gallery and is decorated with many bronzes including moldings, falls, lock entrance and clogs. The flap, sheathed with a green coloured leather reveals a rosewood interior consisting of a locker, 3 drawers and a compartment under the drawers.
