Antique brass coal box (scuttle)

This beautiful antique brass coal box made from steel features intricate embossed designs on the brass panels depicting a rustic family scene on top and a Dutch scene on the front. These boxes were typically used in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly in the Edwardian and Victorian eras. It ads a touch of elegance and history in any room wether used for storing coal and wood or just placed by the fire place as an unique decorative accent. The handle on the left side is missing but otherwise for it's age the box is in good condition. To be collected.
