For sale is a beautiful, true antique late-19th-century French salad serving spoon and fork. This is a rare "male and female" patterned set, meaning the intricate silversmith design on the handles mirrors and complements each other when placed side-by-side. Features genuine square French silver-plate hallmarks. Condition Note (Please Read): This set is being sold strictly as-is for decorative display, restoration, or food photography prop use due to two structural age cracks: There is a deep split down the grain of the natural horn spoon bowl. The thin silver collar casing on one handle has split open and separated from the horn connection socket. Beautiful historic look with a rich vintage patina.
