Antique Ganter Bros. Dublin Mantel Clock - Working

Antique wooden mantel clock retailed by Ganter Bros., Watch and Clock Makers of Dublin (established 1856). Features a beautiful carved wood casing with an architectural top, a glass door, and a highly ornate brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals. It is in full working order and comes with the original winding key. The original paper manufacturer's label is fully intact on the reverse, bearing the Essex Quay and South Great George's Street addresses, and is hand-numbered "14900". A lovely, functional piece of 19th/20th-century Dublin horological history.
