Fine late 18th-century George III mahogany Pembroke drop-leaf table in solid working condition. Features a beautiful figure to the mahogany top, square tapered legs, and original brass box castors. Incorporates one real frieze drawer with brass handles to one end and a matching dummy drawer to the rear for symmetrical display in the centre of a room. Wooden drop-leaf supports (wings) are tight and smooth in operation. Shows genuine period patina and age-related surface marks across the top. Strong, stable, and ready to use as a side table, breakfast table, or compact desk.
