Antique Georgian Pembroke Table - Magnificent item

This is a truly wonderful Georgian mahogany Pembroke table that would make a stunning addition to any home. It features a beautiful, rich grain and is decorated with delicate boxwood stringing around the drawer and table edges, which adds a really refined touch. It also has satinwood inlay on the table top, adding a fantastic level of classical embellishment. The table stands on elegant square tapered legs that still have their original brass castors, making it very easy to move around. It’s a incredibly versatile piece; you can keep the leaves down for a slim side table or pop them up to create a lovely surface for tea, writing, or even a small dinner. It has been well-loved and has a fantastic natural patina that only comes with age. This is a solid, authentic piece of history that is as practical today as it was 200 years ago. It has a few small issues. A small piece of satinwood veneer is missing and another piece needs fixing (I have this piece). There is some slight blushing, but or doesn't take away from the look of this fantastic table. The quality of the joinery is exceptional as can be seen in the photos. This really is a generational piece and is good for another 200 years. Dimensions.
