Antique Leather & Brass Field Binoculars

Pair of authentic antique theatre opera glasses, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1910). Featuring a classic Galilean design, these binoculars extend to reveal solid brass draw tubes underneath their textured black leather-clad barrels. The bridge features unique historical character, with a past owner's initials ("M E") and an inventory number ("4493") hand-inscribed on the metal. Fully functional. The central focusing wheel turns smoothly, extending and retracting the tubes perfectly. Lenses are intact with expected vintage dust; no major cracks. See pictures for condition
