Antique Mahogany woodw easel eara most likely: 1840's -1880's It could also serve as a display stand for paintings, mirrors, or even signage in upscale venues, photos at family gatherings. Realy beautiful, high quality item. Not sure of exact date of creation, however it is very early. Features: Top section: Finely carved scrollwork and spindles Adjustable Middle shelf: For holding artwork or books Bottom panel: Circular leaf motif, hand-carved Legs: Decoratively turned, possibly fluted or reeded CONDITION: Shows signs of age and use consistent with its vintage nature. Some surface marks and minor losses typical of its era. Beautiful Craftsmanship: handmade with lovely detail by a skilled artisan/ craftsman.
