Antique 19th-Century Giltwood Mirror – 137 × 90 cm Beautiful and highly decorative 19th-century giltwood mirror, approximately 137 cm high × 90 cm wide. Elaborately worked frame with scrolling acanthus foliage, beaded detailing and an unusual central religious medallion depicting a saint with the Christ Child. The original-style gilt finish has developed a wonderful warm patina, with age-related wear and imperfections consistent with an antique of this period. Highlighted in 2 pictures need for of tlc The mirror glass also displays attractive age-related foxing, adding to its character.
