This stunning pice of furniture was hand made for Sir John Bond on the occasion of the birth of his first born son Albert Bond born in 1844 on the Bond Estate in Co Longford. It is beautiful, carved from solid wood featuring a carpeted step for the child to step on a toilet seat. Hand carved with a porcelain pot with lid covered by a most magnificent circular lid to blend in with any surrounding. A piece of Victorian upper class furniture ideal for ones private collection or as a wonderful stand out present.
