Description Beautiful antique Victorian mahogany hall chair, believed to date from the 19th century. A substantial and very decorative piece with an elaborate carved high back, shield-style central motif, turned front legs and solid timber seat. The chair has lovely age and patina throughout, with traditional timber construction visible to the rear and underside. A striking statement piece for a hallway, entrance, period home or as an occasional chair. Solid and sturdy overall, with expected age-related marks and wear consistent with an antique piece.
