Based on the serial number (109228) and the factory "L" stamping on the brass movement, this piece dates back to the early 1890s (approx. 1892–1894), making it over 130 years old.The clock is housed in an impressive, ornate eclectic/neorenesans wooden case with a total length of 115 cm. It features lovely turned side pillars, a classic top crown with a carved mythological face, a clean white enameled dial with Roman numerals, and a long gridiron pendulum with a star-decorated brass bob.The mechanical brass movement features a 14-day power reserve (14-day movement) and comes with its original winding key. It has an hourly and half-hourly strike on a spiral wire gong. The clock has been fully serviced, cleaned, oiled, and it keeps time very accurately.
