Fully mechanical wind-up model with original crank handle, tonearm and Nipper dog logo. Turns smoothly and ideal for playing 78 RPM shellac records. Strong leatherette case with brass corners and latches. A fantastic statement piece for Irish cottage décor, vintage pub displays, shop counters, or collectors. Brilliant talking point and looks amazing on a dresser, sideboard or pub shelf. working fully mechanical gramophone (no electricity). Wind the handle on the side to tension the internal spring motor. Place a 78 RPM shellac record on the turntable (not vinyl 45s Lift the tonearm and place the steel needle on the record. The vibration travels through the tonearm into the internal horn behind the lid. The sound comes out through the grille hole in the lid.
