Enamel Chamberstick Candle Holder Year Made: 1900 approx A classic white enamel chamberstick with a blue rim, designed to hold a taper candle. These were a staple in Irish cottages before widespread electricity, used for carrying light from room to room at night. Use: Everyday household lighting in cottages and farmhouses. 2. RARE Stephens’ Blue-Black Writing Fluid Stoneware Bottle Year Made: c. 1920 approx Original stoneware ink bottle with its original paper label: “Stephens’ Blue-Black Writing Fluid” produced by Henry C. Stephens Ltd. Stephens was one of the most famous ink manufacturers, and their inks were widely used in schools, offices, and by emigrants writing letters abroad. Filled with writing ink, it was used with dip pens and fountain pens for correspondence—including countless letters sent to England, Australia and America from Ireland. 3. Small Stoneware Inkwell Year Made: c. 1880 approx A small glazed stoneware inkwell, simple but functional. These were widely used by schoolchildren, clerks, and families at home. Often filled from larger ink bottles such as the Stephens’ jar. Use: Everyday inkwell for dipping quills or steel nib pens. make a wonderful gift or treat yourself!!
