Rare Antique Edwardian Tiger Oak Wardrobe – Alesbury Bros, Edenderry For sale is a beautiful, authentic piece of Irish furniture history. This Edwardian wardrobe was crafted by the renowned Alesbury Brothers at their workshop in Edenderry, King's County (now Offaly), dating between 1905 and 1915. It retains its original ivory-coloured maker's plaque on the interior: "Alesbury Bros. Edenderry, King's Co., Ireland." Key Features: Premium Timber: Built from stunning, golden quarter-sawn "tiger" oak frame showing beautiful natural medullary rays in the wood grain. Original Hardware: Complete with its rare, original Edwardian interior ironwork, including a functional pull-out zig-zag garment rail, swivel ceiling hooks, and Art Nouveau exterior drop handles. Central Mirror: Features an attractive, original arched central mirror door.
