Description
Beautiful and distinctive vintage mid-century teak-veneered cabinet. A really unusual and characterful piece with lovely mid-century styling, including rounded edges, original brass-toned handles, tapered/turned supports and a warm teak finish. The cabinet offers a huge amount of storage and is very versatile. It features: Large glass-fronted display/storage section Multiple shelves & drawers Side cupboards Drop-down drink compartment Generous lower storage Original handles and fittings Attractive curved detailing throughout Measurements: • Width: 158 cm • Depth at deepest point: 43 cm • Depth of upper section: 30 cm The piece is teak veneer, with a lovely warm colour and natural wood grain. It is a substantial, solid-feeling piece of furniture with plenty of character and would suit someone looking for something more distinctive than modern flat-pack furniture. I have not found a manufacturer's label or stamp, so I am not attributing it to a particular designer or manufacturer. I believe it may be a handmade/bespoke piece. There are some age-related marks and signs of use, consistent with its vintage age, but overall it presents very nicely. Please see all photos for condition and detail. I adore this piece, but have to sell because I am moving and won't have space for it. Otherwise I would be keeping it. €300 ono Collection only due to the size and weight. Located in Dublin 1.
