Pair of Vintage Bentwood Rocking Armchairs with Exotic Elephant Upholstery A wonderfully decorative pair of vintage bentwood rocking chairs featuring elegant, sweeping curved frames in a rich dark wood finish. The chairs have beautifully shaped continuous rocker-style arms and bases, giving them a particularly sculptural appearance. Both chairs have been upholstered in an eye-catching Indian-inspired pictorial fabric, depicting richly decorated elephants, horses, figures and tropical foliage in warm earthy shades of terracotta, ochre, olive and cream. The tall upholstered backs and padded seats make them considerably more comfortable and visually substantial than traditional cane-seated bentwood rockers.
