c1850 carved wood & Gesso Baroque mirror RESTO CON

Antique Mid 19th century c1850 carved wood and Gesso portrait Oval Baroque mirror RESTO CONDITION. Came from a very large house (estate) in Wexford and prior to that an even larger Estate owned by the same family in Dorset. (we can share the Royal Provenance with the buyer) AVAILABLE and on offer on behalf the family who are now downsizing this has only recently came off the wall for sale for the first time since 1965 when the family moved to Wexford. CONDITION: In the need of resto (restoration), given age this has failed in multiple places, however thankfully all pieces are present, accounted for and available as pictured, My guess is that this mirror suffered during a house move some six decades ago if not before, This mirror dates to circa 1850 and has lived a life! Again .. we can share the Provenance. SIZE WISE: 31” INCH (top Cartouche to bottom) X 2ft across (24” inch) Oval mirror plate, timber back (study the pics) portrait orientation needless to say. Baroque in its style, carved timber with Gesso and Gilding that has not be cleaned since day one, someone will need to get this mirror back to where in needs to be condition wise and shining like a new penny, WILL BE AN OUTSTANDING MIRROR WHEN FINISHED CORRECTLY.
