Drop Leaf Table Vintage

Handmade table that lived since it was made in the 70's in an East Galway village house. This table has character not a mass produced import , it was made to serve a purpose which it did for a lifetime. I cleaned it up , replaced the broken piano hinges and removed the 1970's fashionable dark stain. Doing this I discovered the legs/frame are solid oak with a few pieces of light oak ( to hand no doubt the day it was made!). The table top is oak veneered however the middle piece is solid oak. I have replaced some of the edging veneer and bees waxed the entire piece. It has the scuffs and blemishes of a lifetime but is ready to be loved again.
