Ernst Wahliss Depose EW TurnWien Austria 1897 Vase

Your chance to own this collector's piece 115 to 124 years old vintage 1897-1906 Ernst Wahliss Depose Turn Wien large porcelain centerpiece vase / jardiniere measuring 13.5 inches long, 7 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide. The centre piece is a beautiful and rare example of Austrian porcelain in the Art Nouveau period. It has a large centre basket with large scalloped and open work edges in the forms of lilies. On each side is a figure of a man a woman in a supporting position. The vase has a variety of glazes accenting each area and the detailing is truly exquisite. At the center are three white swan figures bounded by 2 pink lilies on the left and right. It has an impressed mark 2 over 4562 and a printed mark EW TURN WEIN inside a blue crown. On top of the crown is the word DEPOSE and at the bottom is MADE IN AUSTRIA. This Ernst Wahliss (EW) mark was used between the period 1897-1906 making this antique vase 115 to 124 years old. Despite its age of more than a century old it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks and crazings.
