Ex Dàil Éireann Antique Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard

Beautiful antique mahogany sideboard/dresser with extensive decorative inlay and original brass fittings. This is a substantial and very unusual piece, featuring ornate floral and bow inlay, turned supports, decorative panels, cupboards and drawers. The piece was purchased by my father at an auction of furniture from Dáil Éireann. I don’t currently have the original auction paperwork, so this is being sold with that provenance as known to the family rather than as formally documented provenance. Approximate dimensions: 104 cm high 37 cm wide 44 cm deep 152cm long It has age-related marks, scratches and wear to the finish, as shown in the photographs. It would suit someone looking for an antique piece to restore/refinish, or someone who likes the character and patina as it is. Very heavy and will require collection and suitable transport.
