Description
Late 19th century safety oil lamp patented by Charles Pigeon in 1884. So confident in its safety design, it is engraved on the handle. "10000 francs guarantee that they are inexplosable." This was later removed in 1910. Comes complete with glass globe and fresh wick. See pictures for condition. Dimensions 9cm w x 23cm h
