“Grand Palais” Antique French Dressing Chest

c. 1895–1915 Magnificent original antique French dressing chest, one of six matching pieces from a bedroom suite. Crafted in solid quarter-sawn oak with a warm natural patina and fine carved detailing, topped with a shaped marble surface with raised back and a large mirror. Five drawers (two small over three full-width) with decorative metal handles and keyholes. Very good condition overall; the mirror has a couple of small “silvering loss” spots typical age-related marks for an antique.
