Exceptional French quarter-sawn oak bed one of 6 pieces from the same matching bedroom suite,dating to c. 1895–1915. Beautifully made with a warm honey tone and a soft, aged patina, featuring elegant shaped panels and a richly carved crest to the headboard. Fits a standard EU Double mattress: 140 × 200 cm (55.1" × 78.7"). Headboard size: 175 cm high × 158 cm wide (68.9" × 62.2"). Includes the original-style adjustable slatted bases (two single bases) — each base can raise/lower and allows head/back and leg adjustment, giving comfortable support and flexibility.
