Large Antique Blue Willow Meat Platter – c.1830–18

Large antique blue and white Willow Pattern meat/serving platter, believed to be English Staffordshire and dating from approximately 1830–1850. Beautiful traditional Willow decoration featuring pagodas, bridge, figures, trees and birds with an elaborate blue border. Unmarked underneath, as is common with many early pieces. Very attractive genuine antique with age-related crazing, staining and wear. There is also a fine line/hairline visible near the edge underneath – see photos. Approx. 175–195 years old and a lovely decorative piece for a period or country house, dresser or blue-and-white collection. Collection available.
