‘Laurel Border’ Ironstone serving platter c1883

Genuine Victorian English serving platter in the Laurel Border pattern, dating to approximately 1883. Large oval platter measuring approximately 50 cm (20 inches). Decorated with a green laurel border and raised moulded central design. Original British Registration Diamond mark to the reverse together with the “Laurel Border” backstamp. In good antique condition with age-related crazing and light wear consistent with over 140 years of age. No obvious cracks or major chips. A lovely decorative piece for a dresser, kitchen, or country house interior.
